Yup… last night there was no hiding the truth, the 84th Annual Academy Award Oscars are most definitely plastic! They were on stage and in the audience, plain for all to see.

The little gilded statuette affectionately known as Oscar to it’s recipients and the world at large, was once again on full display with an estimated global audience of 6 billion watching proceedings.

So to were the larger and more ‘life-like’ statues of the stars and celebrities, each having his or her turn on the global stage where for a brief moment plastic and gold stood hand in hand.

How Long Should A Runny Nose Run

runny noseA few hours, a day, perhaps a week or two or even a month, how about six months or heaven forbid, continuously?

These are the questions that need answering in our otherwise busy and hectic lives.

There was a time in the not so distant past, when I worked in the European ski fields and having a runny nose was considered de rigueur, almost a part of your uniform. The standing joke was always ‘April’ whenever anybody asked when your runny nose was going to stop running! (April signified the end of winter in Europe and nearly the end of the ski season and a time when things began warming up).

So what is Jet Lag? Without getting too involved, it’s medically referred to as desynchronosis and is a physiological condition which results from alterations to the body’s circadian rhythms.
